Friedel oscillations and impurity scattering in graphene

Screening of localized scatterers in graphene will be discussed. It will be shown that the Dirac-like spectrum of conductance electrons in graphene has a pronounced effect on the decay of Friedel oscillations and the resonant enhancement of impurity backscattering. The linear low-temperature correction to the conductivity will be shown to vanish for scattering off Coulomb impurities.
