Quantum many-body systems group

Welcome to the home page of the Quantum Many-Body Systems group

We study phenomena that can appear in strongly-correlated quantum many-body systems. We are particularly interested in fractional quantum Hall physics in lattice systems and related one-dimensional models. For further details see the research page.

The independent Max Planck research group is led by Anne E. B. Nielsen and is located at the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems in Dresden, Germany.

We have close collaborations with researchers at Aarhus University, Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics, and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
