The chain parameters are just as for the spherical micelles. E.g. a Kuhn length of 8.33Å and the radius (e) of the excluded volume hardspheres chosen as (e/b=0.1) inorder to mimic polystyrine in a good solvent.
The core consists of a cylindrical section of length L endcapped by two hemispheres of radius R. Simulations has been performed for R=30Å, and L=R,2R, and 3R. Surface coverage has been varied by varying the number of chains or the chain length. The following renderings is simulations with surface coverage five for simulations varying number of chains, and surface coverage two for simulations varying chain length.

L=R. Reduced surface coverage is five.
L=2R. The reduced surface coverage is five.
L=3R.
L=R. Reduced surface coverage is two. The camera have been moved back in order to accomodate the large corona.
L=2R. The reduced surface coverage is 2.3
L=3R. The reduced surface coverage is two.
These renderings have been made using the "Persistance of Vision" Raytracer, and output from the simulator after the corona configuration has been equilibrated. The rendering program is freely available for download.
