• ultracold Rydberg gases and plasmas



• correlated dynamics in atoms subject to intense laser pulses



• correlation effects in triple photoionization processes



• threshold laws in (multiple) ionization processes



• semiempirical descriptions of ionization cross sections



• (classically) chaotic scattering in atomic or molecular systems



• connection between classical chaos and properties of the corresponding quantum system ('quantum chaos')
