The program estimates the finite size Lyapunov exponents as proposed in Aurell et al..

Remark: I should mention that this program is still in an early beta state.

Everything not being a valid option will be interpreted as a potential datafile name. Given no datafile at all, means read stdin. Also - means stdin

Possible options are:

Option | Description | Default |
---|---|---|

-l# | number of data to be used | whole file |

-x# | number of lines to be ignored | 0 |

-c# | column to be read | 1 |

-m# | embedding dimension to use | 2 |

-d# | delay to use | 1 |

-t# | window around the reference point which should be omitted | 0 |

-r# | minimal length scale for the neighborhood search | (std. dev. of data)/1000 |

-o# | output file name | 'datafile'.fsl (or stdin.fsl if data was read from stdin, without -o: stdout) |

-V# | verbosity level 0: only panic messages 1: add input/output messages | 1 |

-h | show these options | none |

**First column:**length scale in natural (data) units**Second column:**Estimate finite size Lyapunov exponent**Third column:**Number of points used for this length scale
