International Workshop

Aspects of Quantum Chaotic Scattering

March 07 - 12, 2005

SCIENTIFIC COORDINATORS:

ORGANISATION: Mandy Lochar, MPIPKS Dresden, Germany

Quantum scattering is a topic of interdisciplinary interest ranging from nuclear, atomic, molecular, and mesoscopic physics to quantum optics, quantum chaos and pure mathematics. However, the interchange of knowledge, and of the techniques developed independently in the different fields is still quite limited. It is the goal of the current workshop to bring researchers from different disciplines together, aiming in promoting new cooperations, and guiding new theoretical directions and technological applications.
