Travel to Bad Honnef coming from Frankfurt/Airport:

If you arrive at Frankfurt airport before 02.06.2002 9.00 you can join us on a river boat trip from Bingen (leaving 10.15 from Köln-Düsseldorfer Rheinschiffahrt see http://www.k-d.com/schiffstouren/linienfahrplaene.html) . The boat trip is about 7 hours and arrives at 17.15 at Bad Honnef. This boat trip shows us the most beautiful part of the Rhine valley. The boat trip fare is regularly 90DM, but for our group only 50DM or 25US$ and is partly sponsored by a private donator.
Otherwise you can take the train from Frankfurt airport to Bonn (about 1.5 hours) and proceed via local Tram to Bad Honnef (about 15km from Bonn). Or you can go by local trains on the eastern side of the Rhine valley.
