remarks:
- A more or less complete list of (preprints of) my refereed articles can be found on the arXiv.
- Included above are the rankings from the two REF
dry runs conducted at our School in 2011 and 2012. For these dry runs, we had to nominate
four publications published after 2008. All the publications in Applied Mathematics at our School were ranked by one external referee giving them scores of 4*, 3*, 3*, 2*.
Classification: 4* - Quality that is world-leading in terms of
originality, significance and rigour; 3* - Quality that is
internationally excellent in terms of originality, significance and
rigour but which nonetheless falls short of the highest standards of
excellence; 2* - Quality that is recognised internationally in terms
of originality, significance and rigour; 1* - Quality that is
recognised nationally in terms of originality, significance and rigour.
You might find it interesting to look at the scores given to my four nominated publications in 2011 and 2012. Scores and deviations give an indication of the reliability of the assessment process.
- Between Autumn 2008 and Summer 2010 my publication activity got reduced due to heavy teaching duties, the death of my father and the severe illness of my mother. Setting priorities in life.
