News: In a REF
dry run at the School of Mathematical Sciences (QMUL) from March
2011 my four nominated publications published after 2008 were ranked
as 4*, 3*, 3*, 2*. This score matched 100% to my own assessment.
Classification: 4* - Quality that is world-leading in terms of
originality, significance and rigour; 3* - Quality that is
internationally excellent in terms of originality, significance and
rigour but which nonetheless falls short of the highest standards of
excellence; 2* - Quality that is recognised internationally in terms
of originality, significance and rigour; 1* - Quality that is
recognised nationally in terms of originality, significance and rigour
This ranks me among the top researchers at our department. Please see the links to my publications to the left
where these four contributions are identified. Note that there are still
three years to go until the real REF takes place, for which my score will be further
improved accordingly.
