Path integral formulation of stochastic differential equations

Dirk Homeier

DESY, Zeuthen, Germany

The aim of the talk is to provide an overview over common problems related to the pathintegral formulation of classical stoachastic differential equations. The focus will mainly be on the forced Burger's equation, which can be interpreted as describing hydrodynamics turbulence of infinitely compressible fluids. Parallels to path integral quantization of single particles and fields will be pointed out and first results of Monte Carlo simulations of Burgulence will be presented.
