The globular structure and morphology of biopolymers are investigated using the path integral approach. In particular, the information contained in the linear structure of a biopolymer is encoded by a modulating function which gives rise to a corresponding structure in three dimensions. In this approach, one is able to model various experimentally verified features of biopolymers such as chirality, the overwinding phenomenon, the observed Brownian motion, and others.
