Scope of the Conference:
The idea of the conference is to bring together scientists from all over the world that work on various aspects of optical microcavities. The main focus will be a deep and extensive exchange of research results, views, and ideas especially among the young generation of scientists working in this field. The MPIPKS Dresden provides a good venue for lectures as well as discussion on all levels. The natural point of contact for this workshop is the Mesoscopic Systems Group of Dr. Martina Hentschel (martina@pks.mpg.de, organizer of this workshop) and research done in the Time Series Analysis Group of Prof. Dr. Holger Kantz. Researchers from both groups will participate in the conference.
Location: MPIPKS Dresden, Seminar Room 1D1 (or Seminar room 3)
Program (tentative) :
All talks are 50 min plus discussion.
