Meetings for people interested in computer related problems

Wouldn't it be good to have an example for ... ?

We started a series of meetings for people interested in computer related problems. The target is to share experiences with each other. Everybody can suggest topics of interest for the next meetings.

For many problems people can have at the institute the answer is already there, because somebody in the institute knows a solution. We just want to create a podium where such people can meet and discuss a small, specific problem related with everything concerning computers.

We expect that everybody who will join the meeting will also provide some information for the others. At least she/he should already have dealed with the topic.

Anybody who wants to introduce a new interesting topic or wants to know how other people solved her/his problem is invited to contact me.

Please also bring your questions, solutions and more suggestions what would be interesting for you in the next discussions.

Suggested topics

More suggestions can be made by sending an email to me.

I am looking forward to seeing you.

Abstract to the talk by Andrey Miroshnichenko

Animate representation are very important and usefull for physicists who works with dynamical systems. Maple is one of the packeges which allows to obtain and visualize solutions. The solutions can be obtained both analytically and numerically. For these two cases there are two two possible ways to animate them. Some examples of applications of Maple for animations and its using in my practice (solitons representation, Josephson ladders) will be presented. The animations for the Web Site "Solitons and Soliton Collisions", where I'm coauthor http://homepages.tversu.ru/~s000154/collision/main.html were created with Maple. I invite you to visit it before my report.
