Vita:

PD Dr. Ralf Everaers joined the Max-Planck Institut for physics of complex systems as a group leader in November 2002. He studied physics at the WWU Münster,  at the TU Munich  and  at the  McGill University  in Montreal and did his PhD with K. Kremer at the Institut of Solid State Research at the KFA Julich  and the University of Bonn. After graduating in 1994 he worked as a PostDoc with J.-F. Joanny at the Institut Charles Sadron in Strasbourg and in the group of J. Prost at the Institut Curie in Paris. In 1998 he came back to Germany and joined the theory group at the Max-Planck Institut for polymer research in Mainz as a project leader. From 1999 to 2002 he headed a Emmy-Noether Nachwuchsgruppe and got his habilitation from the Physics Department of the University of Mainz in 2003.
