EAS - Extreme Atomic Systems

January 29 - February 3, 2017, Riezlern, Kleinwalsertal, Austria.

Registration will be open in October 2016

Dynamics under extreme conditions, in the ultracold and the ultrafast mark frontiers of Atomic Physics. To discuss their progress jointly in a relaxed and inspiring setting is the goal of this annual meeting. QUTIF and GIRYD are two Priority Programs of the DFG highlighting these frontiers separately.

Topics are defined by participant's contributions and include: dynamics of atoms, molecules and clusters under light from new sources (XFEL sources and attosecond pulses) . ultracold complex atomic dynamics . ultracold Rydberg interactions . entanglement of ions and electrons or light and matter. QED and relativistic effects . technological developments and new measurement tools, and much more…

Each participant is encouraged to give a 20 minutes invited talk. Sessions take place in the morning and in the evening. The afternoon is free for discussions and joint activities.
