The Max-Planck-Institute for Physics of Complex Systems in Dresden is
organizing a workshop on computational approaches to electronic
correlations.
The main goal is to collect experts in the many-body and LDA
communities and discuss opportunities to combine ``the best from both
worlds'' to investigate correlation effects in real systems.
The main topics are:
Beyond the LDA
Exact methods for complex systems (QMC and other many body methods)
Infinite-d limits in practice
Applications: HTSC, CMR, heavy fermions, and mixed valence.
