Brief description of the theme of this meeting:
This is the first focus week of the Advanced Study Group (ASG) on Statistical Physics and Anomalous Dynamics of Foraging at the MPIPKS Dresden. The main topic of the ASG is outlined here. The aim of the associated meeting is to bring together experts working in this field, and on related problems, for scientific discussion. We have 12 invited speakers: 5 external speakers, 5 internal speakers from MPIPKS Dresden, and 2 members of the ASG.

Organizational details:
Monday, 7 September is the day of arrival and Thursday, 10 September the day of departure. Talks will only take place on Tuesday 8 and Wednesday 9 September. They will be held in seminar room 4 (ground floor) at MPIPKS Dresden. The coffee breaks will be in the foyer of the institute.
